HOW TO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE YOUR N-POWER UPDATE AND TEST YOURSELF!
It has been observed that most people that registered for the NPOWER scheme are finding it hard to update their profile and possibly write their test, this article will lead you step by step on how to successfully update your NPOWER profile and write your test.
A website NASIMS(National Social Investment Management System) was harnessed to host the NPOWER scheme https://nasims.gov.ng/login. and assist the applicants to update their profile and writing their test, but most people are even finding it hard to reset their password.
First of all you need to remember the email you used in registering with the NPOWER scheme, if not it will be indicating that your "account is not found." After entering the email address don't use the password you used to register with NPOWER previously it will not work, click on "forgot password" another page will open, retype the same email address then click on send link. A link will be sent to your email by NPOWER,visit your mail site and log into your email(whether yahoomail or gmail), locate the NPOWER message and then click the link change password. The link will open another page where you can write your desired new password make sure you write down this password and make sure you don't forget it.The website might keep giving you an error signal but you have to keep clicking until it opens it really frustrating right? but dont give up!!!
After successfully resetting your password, go back to the homepage and log in again https://nasims.gov.ng/login.with your email and your new password, your profile will open, now you can start your update. Some people opened their profile and it was blank, but there is no need to worry. Initially the website was demanding for BVN to validate your information but presently the website has been redesigned to automatically validate your BVN so don't give out your BVN to anyone anymore.
After inputting your details you will be asked to upload your certificates, passport and national ID and any other document which must have been scanned to your laptop or phone(use a phone with good camera and make sure all the details on the scanned documents are appearing clearly and matches with the data you provided). If you upload a file that is larger that 200kb it will not be accepted, so you can visit. https://resizefile.com/resize-image.html to crop and resize and download your scanned documents (In my next article I will show you how to resize and save any file).
After resizing the files return back to the NASIMS website and upload your files with ease then click on Submit. A page like this will appear,
If you are ready for the test, you can
start your test(make sure you have a good network and phone or laptop
battery is fully charged). Click on continue and start the test,but if you have logged out you can visit https://onlinetest.nasims.gov.ng/login and renter your details to start the test.
When you are through with the test and you click on submit, you will be given a notification if you want to retake the test. if you are not satisfied with your performance, you can click on "retake test" and another new set of questions will be assigned to you but if are satisfied click on the submit, this time you can't retake the test again. then the site will compute your score and bring out your result in this format, Congratulations in advance and we wish you success in the final selection.
